Founder, O.R.T. Institute

Dr. Shaw (1944-2019) studied perception and research design at the University of Wisconsin (Ph.D., 1977) and subsequently completed five years of advanced study and clinical training in psychoanalysis (A.I.A.P., 1982).

In recognition of his work with the O.R.T., Dr. Shaw has been named a Fellow of the (American) Society for Personality Assessment and an Honorary Fellow of the British Society for Projective Psychology. Other honors and awards he has received include the N.Y.U. Founder's Day Award, Pi Lambda Theta honors from the University of Wisconsin, and a V.A.
